Default Help on wiring a stereo.

I have a Kenwood KDC-152 stereo in my 74 corvette. My question is how would I wire it and get it to work? (I'm not too good at wiring so if y'all have done this then any pictures, diagrams, videos etc. would work)

Is the factory wiring with the factory radio connector still in place? If so, you can get an adapter that will plug directly into the factory radio connector.

Default Hello again.

Your original radio only used three wires:
BLACK went to GROUND
YELLOW sends power to the radio when the key is ON
GRAY turned on the bulb in the radio when the parking or headlights were ON.

From your new radio pigtail connect the YELLOW to the BAT terminal in the fuse box.
That is for the radio memory.

The new RED connects to the old YELLOW so that the radio only works with the key is in the ON position.

The GRAY is no longer used, just tape it off.
