I will go with the original egg crates, I didn't install them yet.

Nice job. Just out of curiosity what does a license plate cost in Israel?

The license plate belongs to the car.
When you register a new car in the DMV they give you sequence number (classic car# in this case).
You can't change this number all the lifetime of the car, it cost me ~$25 to stamp rear and front plats.

Hi Avner,
Your car looks terrific. I always like 'neat' and 'clean'. It has just enough changes to set it apart from the stock look.
It's interesting that you said you get a "CLASSIC car #". There's an on-going discussion about whether Corvettes are "classics" or not.
Here in Maryland an owner gets an ANTIQUE plate.
Regards,
Alan

Avner, we too have a one time plate for old cars but it goes with the owner's registration and it was about the same price in Va.

Turns out you can have an antique plate on a classic car but not all classic cars are antiques! Course, there are golf tournaments that are called by their names too...The Mill Valley Classic, for example. Must be fifteen different definitions of the word Classic which is what Alan was humorously aluding to. It gets beaten up pretty regularly as to what is considered a classic car as some clubs have definitive views they have developed. Others feel differently.

Care to say what would be considered a Classic car in Israel? That would actually be interesting all kidding aside. Car looks really great.

I've restored many C3 basket cases. After seeing the extent of this restoration from your other posts I have to take my hat off to you.
Beautiful car.
Well done.

NICE...and I know how much patience it took...You have to wait almost a month to get your parts!!!

No problem helping a fellow Corvetter out-
