Terrorizing Orange Cones
Way too close for comfort, Dose. Way too close, Man.
Hang in there; do what you gotta do and I'm believing you're still here for a reason. When the time is right, you can make it happen.
Thanks for the update and get well. I wanna see pics of the new bionic leg when the Docs are finished.

Burning Brakes
A little JB Weld on the frame and 30 gallons of bondo the car will be good as new...
I'm thinking that had to hurt just a little.....
Did you tell the EMT's to stop by a store on the way to the hospital so you could buy a lottery ticket?
Get well....

Man who are you telling....I'm glad my quick reflexes made me try to jump out the way. I jumped to the right....after the hit I was sideways sitting on my right hip..both legs on top of each other. But I am sure my reflexes has nothing to do with it.....

"my dad is a television repairman. He has the ultimate set of tools... we can fix it"
kidding aside, as bad as your injuries were, I am very glad you made it out. Can I ask how you got hit so low of the frame? Very lucky indeed.
Get well.

You will be fine!
My dad was an M60 Door Gunner with the First Air Cav, he was with the LRRP's, all recon missions.
He was shot down 4 times, the 4th time, he broke his back, was only one to survive the crash was in jungle alone for days, he had run from the chopper, then could not walk, they told him he would likely never walk again.
After 6 months in bed and a year total in the Brighton Marine Hospital in Boston Ma, he walked, he went on to get into top shape again, worked out and only now has occasional soreness in his back. He is still building cars and doing great, so hang in there, in the long run, this accident as horrible as it was will simply give you even more perspective as to what matters in life and make you stronger.
You sound to be in great spirits and that is the first step!
Regards, Tim

I finally looked at the pictures a little while ago. I was debating whether or not to look them over, but curiosity got the best of me.
That frame rail sure took a lot of pressure.
All I can say is Jason is lucky to be alive. Someone said he should buy a lotto ticket and I agree!
I had a great time restoring and driving the car. But, I was ready to pass it along and was happy it went to someone so enthusiastic.
We're all sad at the loss of a C3, but accidents happen and in the end it's just a car and can be replaced. I'm sure Jason will get another one some day.
Lives cannot be replaced and I wish Jason a speedy recovery.
I'm pretty sure that car was worth $30K (in case the insurance people are listening!)
