Do you have the AIM and the 68-69 judges manual as well? Both are EXECELLENT reference reading material.

BTW, the '69 goes on the lift this morning to get the clutch out and I've got a shipment coming today from Paragon of goodies -

If you get to Rivereside, stop in. Maybe we could persuade Greg54 to bring out some of his Verts as well - I might even fire up the smoker for ribs!

Constipated?

Cause that's where I read my copy. But not for hours.

BTW, there are some typos. At least in my 1994 printing.

Its the best book for a '69 owner, although the 68-69 NCRS JG, the AIM and Dobbins' 68-72 Factbook are close behind.

This type of book is fascinating for me .
back in 1982 when I got my first 69 corvette , I bought the M.F. Dobbins book and could not put it down . But this book has it beat .

Hi,
I think the Bizzoco book is a must have for anyone seriously interested in ANY 68-72 car.
There is information and pictures that can be applied to ALL 5 years.
A GOOD book!
Regards,
Alan

You only now finding out about The Guidebook? I've had my copy for years and have never owned a '69.

I agree; it's pretty good stuff. I'm glad you mentioned Dr. Dobbins' books; his stuff is also good.

I think we should all come together in one large, well mannered, but insistent mob and coerce (gently) Noland Adams into writing a Restoration Guide Volume III for C3s. I flipped back through his Volume II (again) last Sunday afternoon.

I don't have a 69 and have the book. In fact, I don't have a 68-72 but agree with those that do and state its a must reference guide for the early C3 enthusiast.

Just looked it up: It's 89 bucks on Amazon. Used ones 169.

Any other sources? I'd love to get it.

My copy came from Crane's Corvette Supply in San Diego. I paid $60 in '94.

http://www.cranescorvette.com/new_page_6.htm

BTW, at the top of the front cover is a sticker "1968-69" covering what I suppose is the original printing of just 1969. Does anyone else have the cover sticker? He said he was working on a '68 Guidebook. Did he ever do so?

Ditto. Mine came from Crane's about the same time and same price. There are yellow and black Crane Corvette Supply stickers in my copy but nothing concerning 68 and 69.

I am not certain the 68 Guidebook ever materialized. I've never seen it and keep hoping it pops up.

Double ditto...mine came from Crane as well. The author is a professor out of, I believe San Diego and probably has given Crane primary distribution rights so they charge the $69.00.
