Default Rear T-Top Latch

I have my 75 coupe at the body shop getting them to adjust the t-tops and windows after I intalled new weather stripping. The back edge of the t-tops sits a little higher than the roof line just behind them. The shop called me today and said that the car does not have the striker plate that the latch striker contacts.

Can someone post a pic of the area where the rear latch striker contacts? Thanks

The rear outer corner of the roof panel is located and locked by 2 different pieces.
Hope this helps!

Alan

I don't think a repro is made, but look on ebay and place a WTB post in the parts section.

I am needing both sides. They weren't on the car when I purchased it a couple of years ago. What is the part made of and how does it attach?

You're in luck! Went to the garage and checked and have the pair if it's the part in the second photo. Triangular piece that screws to the body and top trim screws to. Email me your adress and I'll send em to ya. mickcore@yahoo.com

Hold Up Folks. Got the AIM out and found a part number. Do they have a part number of 3948067 and 3948068 stamped in them? If so, I found mine. I was thinking of something totally different. Let me know if that is the right part number for what I need. Appreciate all your help.

Hi tim,
I believe the wedge and plate are being reproduced, but not the striker plate. I do see some available in various vendor's catalogues though.

Alan
