Default Bubba, when you restore your interior, what comes to your mind?

Just thought I would ask you guys. I am in the middle of parting out a 76 corvette, and it just amazes me how dumb people are when it comes to the interiors of these cars.

For example, when your center console and dash pads crack and go bad, fill the backsides with BONDO and then wrap them in vinyl.

Oh dont forget to add the VOLKSWAGEN seat belts whenever your original seat belts stop working.

And this from the most recent listing on ebay:
When your center console gives out, install a new shifter, and then use PLYWOOD to build ya a new one...

At least he painted it red to match the interior. I noticed they did not have enough wood to complete the trim piece between the window switches and the shifter.

As long as it was marine grade - he was good to go.

Pretty high R factor as well!

Is there a real driveshaft connecting the trans to the diff.........or could it possibly be a Louisville Slugger? Better check before driving.

Default Not sure, but........

Not sure, but I think the seats are not "correct"?

No, No, never mind, I think maybe they are after all.

Did you check to make sure a proper engine is in the front?! It may turn out to be just a mouse on a wheel going after his cheese.

Real woodgrain? Not that cheap, painted-plastic stuff?

I say throw on some dark wood paneling, that should spruce things up quite nicely. Next we'll work on that hideous carpet and get you some nice _____ ____ carpet.

To Bubba, when you restore your interior, what comes to your mind?
