Leave Santa Monica at or near 8:30am
meet at Anderson's in Buellton at roughly 12-12:30ish
Where: Santa Monica to Solvang, with pickup points in Oxnard and Santa Barbara... meet in Buelton for lunch with NorCal boys.... now with over 73 C3's!!!! We were shooting for 5.... then it was 10.... then 25.... and then we thought we were crazy to dream of 50!!!!!!.... 50 came and went ... now at 63 (5-25-11)?!?!?!?.... should we be so crazy as to shoot for 75?!?!?!?!?!? :-)
What C3 PCH cruse, Northern California meets Southern California in Buelton... one of the largest gatherings of C3's in California!

Starting location: Santa Monica pier at 7:30a.m.on April 30th, departure time to be between 8:00 and 8:30a.m.
MAIN STARTING POINT: DEPART TIME: 8:30...Santa Monica to Camarillo, North bound Hwy 1 (P.C.H.) towards Point Mugu approx 40 miles. Exit Las Posas Rd. head North (right) approx 8 miles to the Camarillo park and ride located on, Park and Ride Dr. in Camarillo (South East corner of the intersection of 101 and Las Posas Rd). Estimated arrival time 9:30a.m. to 10:00a.m.Departure time 10:00a.m. 49.4 miles at 71 minutes travel.
SECOND PICK UP: 10:00AM Camarillo to Santa Barbara, North bound hwy 101 exit Cabrillo Blvd approx. 40 miles. This off ramp exits off the number one lane (the fast lane, far left). Head West (left) on Cabrillo Blvd. (approximately two miles) past the Santa Barbara Zoo, along the beach and towards Stearns Wharf, to State St. Head North (right) on State St. (approximately three miles) to the La Cumbre Plaza located on the South East corner of La Cumbre and State st. Estimated arrival time 10:00a.m. Departure TIME 11:00a.m. 48.1 miles at 53 minutes.
LAST PICK-UP: 11:00AM Santa Barbara to Solvang, From La Cumbre Plaza, head West on Calle Real approx .5 miles to Hwy 154. Head North West (right) on Hwy 154 9.4 miles to Stage Coach Rd. head left on Stage Coach approx 3.1 miles to Paradise rd. Head left .5 miles back to Hwy 154. Head West (right) on hwy 154 13.4 miles to Hwy 246 (Mission Dr). Head left on Hwy 246 approx 8.0 miles through Solvang to Buellton and the Ave of Flags head North for parking, meet and greet and lunch. 34.3 miles at 50 minutes. Estimated arrival time in Solvang 12:00p.m. to 12:30p.m.
When we get there:
We will meet up in Santa Ynez at the high school parking lot, where we will likely be met by the high school film club! Wait for the NorCal crew if we get there first. The cruise route then continues on through Solvang, then on to Buellton for lunch/park n show/BS session The main SoCal cruise will then head north to Santa Maria before heading east towards 1-5. Those that want to keep cruising can go, or those that have had enough of driving for one day can head over to Bee Jay's place for a few minutes before going onward to Santa Maria where our motel rooms will be waiting. Santa Maria will be our rallying point for those that want to go do their own thing.
Roughly, 135 miles with 3 hours of road time.

The standard shared frequency and code will be::::CH#21 462.7000 MHz GMRS with tone guard code #21. This should be standard on any GMRS radio brand.
off frequencies will be: South C3 group Ch#20 462.6750 MHz GMRS code #21------------ North C3 group Ch#22 462.7250 MHz GMRS code #21
We will be using Ch#21/code21 for most all of the rout, the other ch#'s will be used when we all meet in Buelton to keep radio chatter down while we eat and meet...

Well... that would make a potential five.... hopping Beejay will join us.....and my other C3 buddy David..... ill send them both an email....

i need a tilt telo pretty bad im trying to find one i can afford i had a line on one in here but the guy never sent me any info to pay him so i didnt get one. but ill take more pics some time in the next week and post them. and we have to do it before sept thats when i have to put her on a boat to italy so i can meet her there in nov!!

My column is pulled apart with lots of peices missing im thinking about trying to order all the parts im not sure i need to do more research but im hopeing that mid to late feb she will be road worthy

My 81 is being a bit temperamental. She died for six days and then fired right up and I don't have a clue to the cause. If I can shake out the bugs, i'm in!
As far as a tilt/telescoping wheel goes, if you are looking for a used one, I know two people who would probably have them. Shawn in Chatsworth 818 415-6969 and Steve in San Diego 619 210-4444. Again, if you decide to go use, i'm sure they got it!

After the holidays ill give these guys a call but i am a mechanic and am going to bring a verity of tool both regular and electrical so when i break down lol i can fix it but if anyone else has troubles i will help out to the best of my abilitys.

Come up this way to our next autocross. Compete or observe, have lunch. We could cruise across my favorite mountain pass or cruise to Solvang, or both.

Once I get my new rad/fan combo from Dewits, I'll be able to trust her not to run hot ! That's the ONLY reason I don't take her on longer drives ! But I have the money now....Dewits told me to hold on, they're having a sale.....March will be awesome !
