That looks awesome. Should make for a really nice ride when you get it all back together. Keep the pics coming.

Looks awesome. I'd love to have that rolling underneath mine. What's going to be pushin' her along?
Since you've already got an empty frame, could you take some closeups of where your frame VIN is (the back one)? I'm going to go looking for mine, but would love to know exactly where to look (body on). If no pic, then a description from the other pics (in relation to the mounts, bolt holes, etc.)

Looks great. Just a piece of advice, those bolts that attach the rear coil overs to the frame are quite long..so when you drop the body back on watch them closely or they will make a right mess of the battery/jack compartments if your not careful.

I'm out of town right now, so it'll have to wait until I get back this weekend, not sure exactly where to look but I'll be happy to give it a shot. I hope I can find it after the powdercoating (didn't even know there was one)
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll probably be dropping the body myself so i'll be looking closer at that, thanks. Maybe I can find some shorter ones or trim them up a bit.

As Alan was saying a great foundation to build a well mannered C3 on. VanSteel has some great products and they do a fine job of installing them. Well done. Again keep the pictures coming please.

Scott,
Your frame and rolling chasis looks better than the promo photos on the Van Steel website!! Absolutely georgous!
Are you running Smart Struts with the real coil over kit or just their adjustable struts?
Did you ride in a car with the rear coil over set up before you bought yours? I'm seriously considering doing this kit over the winter but I've only conversed with one other owner and so I'm still building my comfort zone for doing it. I'm considering a January get away to visit them and see first hand.
Are you going to use a rear sway bar? I hear they have a shortened bar coming soon.
Keep us posted on the completion of your project.

Very nice. Vans always seems to offer top quality. looks like your rear end is adjusted just right so that the half shafts will be level when the body goes on. That gives you the best strength for your U-joints and half shafts.
