I was just wondering with many multi vette owners, how many of you still have your first Corvette?
I still have my first and so far only Vette, an '81 that I got in '97.

Damn, I wish I did!!! A mint one owner fully loaded black on black 1980. Was stolen and stripped in 1989 with 19,000 original miles on the clock. I sure miss that nice street cruiser. . I would probably still have it today. Loved it!!!

Still have my '72 bought used in '74.
Been a great car, lots of memories.
I'll be passing it on to my boy one of these days.

Wish I could say I did...it was a '77 and she was SWEET ! I was the second owner...
It was parked in front of my place and my brother and I were upstairs "smoking"...(LOL !)....we heard a terrible crash and I KNEW it was my Vette... We run down stairs to see the carnage...
I was parked behind a Toyota pickup....some illegal alien woman was speeding down the street - trying to crank up her passenger side window and veered into my pride and joy... Slammed the rear of the Vette....shoved it up and UNDER the Toyota....the truck was up into the windsheild ! Bent the frame...destroyed the body front to back...
She skipped town and I never saw a penny from her.
At least my brother and I wern't in the car when it happened....cars come and go....but I sure do miss that one.

Still have mine, but i sold it about 10 years ago and i wish i had never sold it,so my wife wondered what ever happened to the car and she took it upon herself to find and call the person who bought the car that lived in Pittsburgh and to her surprise they were going to call me about buying the car back because the guy who owned it had to relocate to California for his job and could not take the car with him.He knew how much i loved the car when i sold it ,so he thought he would call me before he sold it to the public. So you know i had to jump on it.had my car for over 20 years when i sold it and now i have it back, ive had it back for about 5 years now. i will give it to my son when he's big enough and shows responsibility.Maybe

I do. Twentysix years now. I am not her original owner, but she's been with me longer than anyone else.

My first was a 2001 coupe that I bought new. Sold it when I bought my 2007 coupe because I didn't think I needed more than one. Wish I had kept it.
Since then I have added a 70 coupe and a 68 convertible. So much for thinking I didn't need more than one.
