Default Wood Trim Issues

I just had the interior completed on my '74. While it looks great - I'm having issues with the "wood" trim on the door. I've tried a few different adhesives - but as soon as my vette sits in the heat for a few hours the trim separates from the door. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Had you used Armor-All on the area under that panel? That stuff is hard to get rid of and will prevent adhesive from adhering well. You may have to devise some sort of mechanical retainer system for that panel...something like using epoxy glue to add some small plates with pins on them to the back-side of that panel, then push the pins through the door panel and bend them over (similar to the trim piece on the lower section of the early '70s door panels).
