Default Some 'eye candy pics' - well in my humble opinion...

I never posted photos of my restoration - thanks to all who have helped me over the last 1 1/2 years. I always wanted a Corvette, since I saw one in my hometown (Melbourne, Australia) so when I moved to the 'States, it was an aspiration to have one and work on it. So, when i found a 1970 BB in close to original condition I was hooked. One complete frame-on restoration (after finding a piston ear in the oil pan), and I am close, real close. Matching #s BB, except for carb and the only consolation I made was an MSD box and dizzy (still have the original, boxed and correct), plus a Magnaflow system. And yeah, I did it myself (and a truckload of beer - I don't even wanna contemplate how much!)

Enjoy and let me know your thoughts...

Purists may notice a few things astray (passenger valve cover breather for one), and I still have the seats to get reupholstered and the tire carrier to restore and replace. But, it's a blast to drive, nonetheless and I love it. Cheers lads!

Also, for you being able to do all the work yourself. That is awesome.

You done good kid! I like it just as is without the spare tire carrier on. Car has a very nice stance. As for the beer consumption, I always have to add 40% to the restoration budget for that reason alone.

Stay in tune....

Great work, I know you are proud of that one! Probably tough to wipe that permanent smile off your face when driving it.
