I have a paint scheme in mind for my wife's 76....where the body is one color, and the top section (top of hood, roof, and sail panels) is black or dark gray. I've looked around and have not seen the pics I need. I've seen some cars with the top paint black, but the paint dips down on the sides of the doors and I think it "distorts" the shape of the car. I remember seeing a few pics a while back that had the 2-tone paint scheme I was looking for....but do you think I can find it when I NEED it? Yeah, no. So if you guys can post some pics to help me out, I'd be grateful. Thanks!!

Yeah...like the one on the bottom. I need to see how people are painting the hood area too. I think sometimes the hood looks way to long, depending on the style of the paintjob. It's like the center racing stripes that go from the back ALL the way to the front bumper. It just accentuates the fact that the front end is already reaaaaaally long.

go for it man. when I brought up the idea of doing this last year a lot of people said it wouldnt work out well, but I sure think it did.
