CF members in upstate SC.
I've gotten a lot of help from here and would like to know how many members are in my local area so that I can ask questions in person and maybe make some new friends. This forum has been the best help by far. Thanks Guys!

I'm in Cumming, Ga, not too far away, but I attend "Vettes in the Valley" (Maggie Valley) and both the "Corvette Expo's" in Sevierville every year. These are great places to meet Vette fanatics. Hope to see you there.

I've never heard of Vettes in the Valley...do you have any more info on this? Isn't Maggie Valley in NC? I have relatives in Canton/Waynesville, NC and Maggie Valley is right around the corner from them...
When are the Corvette Expos as well?
I'm looking for things to do when I come home on R&R in June!!

There are two Corvette Expos in Sevierville, Tenn every year, late March and October. Hundreds of Vettes and many, many vendors. A great place to buy parts and stuff. Vettes in the valley is in May (29-30). Again many vettes and vette fanatics, but no parts vendors - more of a show with judging. Both venues are fun.

And from another thread:
There will be no Fall EXPO this year.
There will be a fall auction at the Events center. However no show cars, and at best a limited number of vendors will be there.
Four years of terrible weather has taken it's toll on the event. This spring we had great weather on Saturday. The facility in Sevierville is very expensive and I suspect the promoters have decided that the expense is just too burdensome. Renting the facility is only a fraction of the cost involved, security, parking, staff, lodging, etc all come in to play.
I am not speaking for the promoters, when it comes to reasoning, it is only my observations of past events. The first sentence of this post is factual, there will be no fall EXPO.

I'm chipping away on my 73 over in Boiling Springs SC. I keep wanting to go to the shows in Sevierville, but something always manages to intervene! Maybe next year?
