Is there anyone out there in C3 land that can point me in the right direction on how to obtain current Title info on a 1969 427 Coupe last titled in Texas on 5/6/75 and last registration expired in Nov 1998. I do have the Title and license plate numbers. Reason: I have what appears to be the original engine from the vehicle with is an undecked 3963512 block stamped 19S73xxxx, T1120LO, casting date I-2-9 with 3946074 heads dated 10-20-69 and 10-22-69 and 3933198 intake. Curious if the car is still alive . . . . .

Other than running it through DMV in all 50 states, you will have to post the vin on here and NCRS and see if someone knows the car.

Have you contacted Texas DMV? How about the last registered owner? If he sold it in 1998 he might have info as to whom?
