Default Napa's Zero Rust?

Anybody have experience with the POR15/Rust Bullet clone that Napa sells by the name of "Zero Rust"? I've been looking for POR15 and Rust Bullet locally, but cant find any yet.

Im not doing a 25k frame off, or anything close to that. Just a nice driver.

The price is good at $25/qt and you can get something like 12 different colors.

The owner of autobodyforum.com tested ZeroRust against POR15 and the ZeroRust won hands down. I've used both and prefer the ZeroRust

I used Zero Rust on a 64 Mustang I am working on. The stuff is great. It takes a week to fully cure, but once it does, it is almost like iron. Be sure to use lots of ventilation with it. The fumes will do you in quick.

That's a pretty good deal. Do they have the gallon at Napa?

Looks like I'll have to take a trip down to my local Napa auto store and pick some up.

How much prep work does it need compared to rustbullet and POR?
Rustbullet needs almost no prep work, but POR needs a lot of prep work.

Their website claims that you just need to wire brush/wheel the surface and then paint. They also say you can use a metal etcher for better results. There isn't a ton of info this stuff, thats why I asked about it

I used Por 15 and was very happy with the results. Drying time wasn't a factor since it was February and the was 2' of snow outside of the garage.

I took a right angle buffer and put an 8" wire wheel on it and knocked off all of the rust and dirt I could. I then sprayed all exposed metal with Pickelex and let it dry overnight. Then I brushed on the Zero Rust. See before cleaning, after cleaning and painted below.
