Default cabin fever in the north

40 degrees and sunny, fired up the Vette, warmed it up for 15 minutes , take a real slow drive thru the sub, a 50 year old couple walking their dog, he yells out , NAIL IT!, I just smile and enjoy the sun and the rumble of the sidepipes, thinking spring, reality, 5-6 inches of snow forecast for Monday. hooked up the battery tender, put on the car cover. dam , it felt good while it lasted!

Drove mine today for the first time in 3 months. Nobody told me to nail it...but I did.

Had mine out 2 saturdays ago and it felt great. Then snow, and more snow, and more forecast for this Tuesday.

Good for you! Grab them days when you can. It's good to get the grease warmed up and let everything spin when you can. I still got 12" of snow blocking that side of the driveway... ..and the seats are out anyway. Glad to hear some of you are getting out at least.

I'm jealous. I've still got a 3 foot high drift of snow in front of the garage where the Vette is parked. It will be a while before it comes back out.

Snow, snow and more snow along with low temps.

You wouldn't believe how sick and tired I am of hearing the phrase "below average temperatures" from the local weather folks. Here in Indiana we're into our third straight year of below average temps.

I'm ready for some above average heat!

It has been so mild this year in the valley where I live that I have had mine out just about every weekend at least once since first part of January. This has been tiding me over until I can get the boat out on the lake...I need to fish!!

Last Thursday here in Dallas the snow had melted, the sand had been swept the sun came out and it was 60 degrees!! I put on shorts , a tee shirt some tanning oil {smells like heaven} de-bagged the Vette removed the tops and went for a ride!!!! Bring on the Summer!! Today it's dark and rainning and snow is expected Tuesday...There is Hope!!!

Must be nice, too cold and too much snow here. Mine are still asleep for the winter, can't wait to get back on the road.
