Panic... I run a Steeroids unit now, and While I have not actually physically weighed them, I can tell you that the entire R&P setup weighs less than the steering gear alone.. you can feel the difference when you hold then in your hands... especially when you are running aircraft aluminum tie rods!!
Plus, when you factor in tubular a frames (upper and lower) fiberglass mono spring, billet shocks, and NONE of the original steel that usually is contained within a stock front end, iI think my new front clip will be drastically less in weight than stock.

Wow! That's my dream engine. Power AND looks. That's the best looking engine I've seen on the C3 CF IMO (The sunglasses are to control the glare from the engine.)

Thank you MN80.... I an planning to mirror the underside of the Full TIlt front end..
I really can't wait to see it all together....
But the weather here is an AVERAGE of 20 degrees... and it should be 40+......
Have to wait a bit.......

Well... I still have not been able to work on FULL TILT for the last couple of weeks... but I have posted some more pics:
Here is the firewall....
right side clip seam.... MAN was this a B to get straight !
And if the seams were tough... the headlights were close to impossible!
This is the radiator core support and lower hinge mechanism... taken a while back before I had the bodywork done....
This is a pile of crap that got cut out while I was fabricating the front clip....
Here is a reverse shot of the underside of the clip....
And a shot of the new valance I had to make to clear the hinges....
This is the interior before she burned... I will put it back very much the same... after the leather has been "Freshened" and I re-fabricate the console to accomodate some different switches....
More to come when the weather warms up !!

Thanks RS... the wonderful thing about owing the company.. is that you own the company... and that simply means that when work presents its-self... you go to work!! And throw everything else to the side for a time...
Sorry to have not updated things in a while...
But I am still here... and still working!
I will post more when I am able,,,

OK... so i have been working 18-20 hours days the entire month of January... and the weather here has been nuts! We now have 6 inches of snow and it's 20 degrees !
No paint for now!
But here are a couple more build shots:
I had to custom make the grill mounts, headlight supports, and horn mounts:
Here is a different shot of the hinges, core support, and the custom lower panels I had to fabricate:
Kind of cool look from the rear... I hand made the rear spoiler during the previous build and will keep it for this build:
This was were I had to leave it just before Christmas... Built walls so that I could have a "paint booth" ... but the weather here has not been cooperative as yet....
More to come when we all warm up around here!!!

All I want is 1" flares that look totally stock. I'm very much afraid to try something like that, but then I look at what you have done. Wow! And that interior is sweet! You can do anything, maybe I can do small flairs. Keep up the good work, it motivates the rest of us.

tnvettte2, As you are aware... the weather in Tennessee has been as crazy as the rest of the country. And work has been equally as nuts! Which is good... but I have not had a minute to work on anything since before Christmas. It's driving me nuts, but I will get back to it and paint the beast hopefully in March!
With any luck, I should have Full Tilt back on the road by July.

pureenergy, thanks for the compliments... I designed the entire interior, it is not a kit, and Mark Stephens stitched the leather, including the doors. We made the seats, door panels, kick panels, console and dash.
Sorry you don't like the wing ona... I made it. It took 7 attempts with a hand made sand mold to get it like it is. And the supports need to be rather large... I have had this car over 200 mph on numerous occasions, and the downforce on that rear wing is large!
Thanks Mako.. we do what we can with what we have!
