I think a lot of you guys don't give her the credit she's due. She grew up the daughter of a racer and is a real gear head at heart. I think some of you pay too much attention to the details instead of enjoying the show for it's entertainment value and occasional useful bits of info.

Both very lovely looking ladies but I find it odd how when I posted a pic of my wife a few months back, the thread was locked almost immediately. And yes, she was wearing clothes, pretty similar to these pics.

No nudity, semi-nudity, suggestive, seductive or sexual images, film clips or emoticons. No images, clips or emoticons that would be shocking or offensive because of the content. Moderators will err on the side of caution in eliminating questionable images.
Members who quote the inappropriate links/images or comments in their reply, are held equally accountable as the member who originally posted it.
If the images I posted fall within gray areas, then I apologize. Since the pictures were reposted in a quote however, I can not remove them from the thread by editing now. I hope no one here was offended by the content.

From observation only, as I don't claim to know:
Pictures of girls in bikinis have been posted for various reasons, including (but not limited to) advertisments for supporting vendors' posters, pictures of the "Miss Corvettes at Carlisle" contest, and some pictures where a women's bodybuilding contest was held at the same venue as a classic car show. It would appear to me that women in bikinis are generally considered "clothed", as that is accptable attire in a variety of venues, many of the Corvette related. As I recall, Saudivette's wife pictures contained some where she was essentially in her underwear. If I had to guess, that is where the line was drawn, and she was not considered "clothed" anymore, more like "semi-clothed", so even though the pictures were of her and the car, I think a line was crossed.
Without going into detail, and just from memory, other threads and pictures have been removed/locked when they seemed to have little or nothing to do with C3s, or were posted in a manner that was not nice. The rule does state "Moderators will err on the side of caution in eliminating questionable images", and the board is openly intended to be "family friendly", so I am fine with all of the above.
Now when it comes to Ms. Hansen, the one photo does look like she is only wearing underwear, so I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets locked and/or edited.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't having a go at you nor do I care what's posted - far be it for me to disagree with scantilly clad women! I was "wondering outloud" about the double standards.
You are possibly correct, but if that's the case then it's pretty pathetic as the underwear she was wearing are the ones they call "boy pants" (or something similar) and they cover far more than a bikini bottom and if she wore them with a bikini top to a venue where bikinis were accepted, people might wonder why she was covering up!
I think the complaint actually came from a forum member though...
