Default 1976 Sunvisor replacement - how it's done?

Purchased replacement sunvisors and started to replace the driver's side. Got the old one finally off and am not for sure if the new one just slides on or not. Don't want to mess it up. I did a search and replacing them on a 1976 was not discussed. Thanks

Default

Just a few hours ago refinished the sunvisors on my 77 and they were difficult to get off but like vettepower said they just slide off and on. While pulling them off keep rotating the visor while pulling. Before I reinstalled mine I applied a fine layer of lubricant on the shaft and they went on real easy.
