Default Best Shock Absorbers

In your opinion or from experience, who makes the best ahock absorbers for a c3? I know I'm not going to get a much smoother ride because that's how the vette was built but I'm just looking for the best all around shocks for around 200 dollars.

I would say bilstein, but I think you would be hard pressed to get a car set for that price. I would say KYB would be the best for that price range, jmho

QA1 coil overs at the front and Bilsteins sports at the rear I'm very happy with this set up - coils overs will give you some ride height adjustment at the front - have fun!

I have QA1 adjustable's at all four corners, I like them very much.

Wow if you guys can find me some Bilsteins or QA1's for 200 or less I am all in. Seriously if you want to stay at 200 or less you are in the KYB range. I have a set on my car and they perform adequately. I’m sure the Bilsteins and QA1’s would be better, but price is also a factor in the world I live in.

Ya... wait a month and save up another $100 - Bilsteins are the "industry standard" around here.

I don't know if they're the best, but I installed Bilsteen Sports this Spring & a spreader bar up front, it made it a HUGE difference over whatever the previous owner had put on.
