Default Convertible carpet

I have taken on a project where I was not part of the tear down of the car. Having a bear of a time trying to figure out how the carpet goes in around the wheel wells. Here is a picture of the carpet layed in with the padding in what I can figure is the correct position.

Here is the whole project to date HERE

Links and images of the rear compartment would be appreciated.

I had to do a lot of trimming with my carpet on all four edges. Get the hump part layed down and then work the edges, trimming as you go. Heck, mine came from a name brand vendor and one piece had the backing glued on backwards.

You all have me worried. Replacing carpet is one of my winter projects.

You might want to order from one of the specialty vendors, Al Knoch or Corvette America. Mine was "molded" with the pad and fit well for the most part. At least had a shape similar to the wheel humps. The left side was great but the right was not as good. When I mentioned it others said I should have sent it back and got a replacement that might have been better. I glued it down and worked ok. Took some trimming to fit, but nowhere near as much as it looks like yours needs.
