Default I hate thieves

I walk into Giant Eagle this afternoon to do a quick grocery stop, come out 20mins later and my mirrored glass t-tops are gone....I couldn't believe it, so I made a police report and will call to make a claim tomorrow, this sucks........

Been there.
Mine were quite rare, still looking for a proper set.

Locks............. had the best, easily busted off.
Only way is to permanently bolt em in the pin spots.

Then they just bust the tops.

Lost my original door glass once and the pass door lock cylinder once.

I suggest you get some fiberglass tops for every day use.

edit: get the glass engraved with vin.

Never would have thought anyone would stoop so low as to stealing your tops, but I guess these days people would steal anything if it weren't bolted down.... It was hard enough finding the one mirrored top after I broke one.

Peoples morals and respect for others gone down the tubes Kyle Busch is a perfect example of that smashing that trophy after he won that race F'n Jackass

Then all you have to worry about is the paint chips from them trying to steal the tops

How did they get access to the interior? Broke the window or doors left unlocked?

That does suck. Can you push the police more, explaining what they cost to replace, when & if you can even find them? You know if one of their own had a vette and this happen, they would pursue it very aggressively.

Sorry to hear this...people have no respect for other peoples property.

This is a prime example of, my vette is off my property it`s not left alone. It`s not a trailer queen, but It`s my pride and joy...no damage needed by others...I can do crap to all by myself.

Even if you parked her in the back forty, some idiot will park right beside you. That you can put money on.

Yes I take my vette pretty much everywhere, for the last week it has been on DD duty since my Regal has been in the shop. I'm not overly worried about door dings because my paint is pretty bad anyway.

The windows were down due to the 85 degree heat from yesterday, I didn't think it would be a problem because I had only planned on being like 10mins in the store
