Default Replacing one lip seal caliper for an o-ring type

So here goes nothing: replacing one leaky caliper (lip seal type/ front drivers side) with a o-ring type caliper. Unemployed and have get her on the road some how. Would have re-build it, but it looks like "Bubba" did it once before. What's the possibility that it'll pull to one side or I'll notice any problems? Anybody done this before?

If someone doesn't come in to this with an informed answer (not a guess or a theory) I'd try giving Vette Brakes and Products a call and get their input. They were one of the first pioneers of SS sleeved calipers and likewise on the O-ring technology with respect to the Delco Morraine C-3 caliper.

Hope you get the answer you need.

It will probably pull a little to the right until the pads seat. I dont think the lip verses oring will make a difference.

It won't make any difference. Been there, done that.
Installed o-rings on the left front of my 71 because it leaked, and zero issues noted.
