Time For A Survey
I have a 75 convertible in very good original condition, 4 spd. air car, and I need to decide if I box it up and keep it or sell now. I have owned it 18 years and it has 33,550 miles on it but the C-6 bug has bitten and a very low mileage 2007 is on it's way to the house. Can't drive both at the same time and really don't have room for both. So, Keep It or Sell It? Let the voting begin and thanks for participating in this very scientific socialogical experiment.

If you don't have room to store it then it would be sad watching it degrade in the elements. Sell it to someone who can offer the car a caring and loving home! Btw, what price would you be asking for it?

keep it. find room for it. i was going to sell my 75 that i have had for 20 years this year. i got a c5 back in 2001 and then bought a z06 in 2006. i put a for sale sign on the 75 for a few weeks. i was not driving it anymore and it was going down fast. after realizing i could not let this thing go, i decided to rebuild the motor and get it painted. in the process i ended up turning it into a custom project. i am very glad i kept it and once it is done i will never sell it. i built a new garage this year just so i would have a place to put it. try to keep it if at all possible. if you have no way of storing it, then consider selling it to a good home that will take good care of it.

I am sure the 75 is paid for and only costing you in insurance money. If I could get the 75 indoors I would keep it. Leaving the C6 in the driveway would not be a problem for me as I would be driving it everyday anyway.

Same reasons.. I did not have much room or time to drive both, but I really wish I had kept it.

some may know this story already, but let me chime in and be the first to say that I am glad I sold my 70 BB Convertible project a couple of years ago. it was all torn apart by me and I was in way over my head with the $$ concerns and time needed to work on it. It was a major total project needing everything.. I lost a couple of grand on it from owning it for 14 years and had driven it for the first 10 of those years, but would have lost 25 grand on it if I would have went on and completed it then sold it. plus my time...
maybe the logic and motivations don't apply in this case as I went out immediately and searched long and hard for a replacement... I found almost the exact same car, only nearly complete and totally solid car. it needed a couple of grand to finish. It cost me not a whole lot more than the basket case I sold. Now this one I would regret selling and will not for several years.. maybe to help the kifd thru college.

Thanks for all the input. It's just hard to keep them all if you are a mere mortal with a 2 car garage and not an entire warehouse.
I wonder if I would have gotten the same results on the C-6 Forum.
