umm, i dont know about the patriot lake pipes, but with the hookers putting the pipes on before the headers is a bad idea

Looks good. I am looking forward to the rest of your pics. Especially how you hook them up to your headers. Thanks, steve

we could be wrong though with the patriots....but I don't know any other way of connecting them.

Patriots are completely different than the hookers, use a sinlge pipe, can hook to any sinle outlet header, just bend the pipe to fit from header to input

I have hugger headers on mine, come straight down like original manifold only a little longer, very simple to run pipe from them to the sidepipes.
Ill post more pics when I fininsh tomorrow.

Wouldnt reccommend the Patriots if your runnin much over 300 hp, but up to that, (i'm right around 300) the patriots are a good inexpensive set. Also very very easy to replace a few years down the road if they start to rust or degrade, like most sidepipes do, including Hookers.

They do look really good, and love the color of your Vette! Are those the headers from McJacks in California and is there a noticable power increase?

Those are Dynomax ceramic hugger headers, slight difference when I put on the headers, big difference when I added the sidepipes to them, and car just runs so much smoother, nice git up and go. And sound is awesome!

Here's some pics from today after I cleand up the car after install.

More pics here of rest of car.

Nice job looks great. I hate the hookers I got the chrome ones and put them on in December. They are rusting already
