It's nice to see a story like that. In todays world it is too easy to get wrapped up in your
own life its nice to see there are still people who care. I try to help out when I can.
Thanks for sharing.
Riggs.

Nice story very touching. When the chips are down, that is when you see the best in people.

Thanks, Gordon, for the reminder that helping each other get over problems is a strong way to build relationships and be good neighbors, even when they fly in to help.

Sounds like the newlywed and his bride are having the best outcome on their project coming to life. Hope they get years of fun out of it.

Kudos to all involved.

Great story that really hits close to home. I have cleaned up most of my bucket list and am making arrangements to depart this planet in the very near future. My final push is to finish my RT project. I have enjoyed the help and camaraderie of a couple of very close friends as we have worked together this winter to wrap up the project. One of those friends was the absolute picture of health. We worked till about 8pm Tuesday night. David went home, showered, had dinner with his wonderful wife Sandy and turned in for the night. Sandy woke me at midnight saying David would not respond. Paramedics worked on him all the way to the hospital but shortly after we got there he was pronounced dead.

I am ever so grateful for his help and his friendship. He loved this project and he loved life. The car is just a car..... the friends and the joys they have brought are priceless.

God bless you my friend, you are sorely missed.

Glad yo uall liked the story. I posted our responses back on thier forum to see what they would have to say. I'l let everyone know. Quite a story.

Rolling Thunder I wish you all the best. It sounds like you are taking advantage of what you have. Nobody really knows how much time we have here. Enjoy life while you can. I have learned to try and not save everything for a rainy day. Do it now!
