Default My Project

I've been working on this since september.
By "I've", I mean mostly a great mechanic for the items I am not equiped to handle and some stuff I have done. All in all it's turning out beautifully and is a gas to drive.

It all started out with a blown head gasket. Uppon inspection I realized that the motor was a rebuild and didnt look like it was built be anyone that had a clue. It was removed.

We started with a new shortblock and bolted on some cool stuff.

Clear powder coated manifold
Cleaned up the engine bay a bit and gave it a quick paint job.

Well we done out with the olded
Time for in with the newses

Had Some fun with the powder coating.

And its finaly in, not finished, but in.

Put rack and pinion on it....as long as it was on the lift.
It came from a vendor here and I gota say
GREAT ADD ON !! what a difference in control and responce !
Really !!

And finally, with the addition of the chrome dip stick and wing nut on the air cleaner (not pictured, sadly) This part of the restore is over.

So Far........
New Tires, New Shocks, New Battery, Alarm system, Door locks, Heater Core , Lower A frame bushings, Leaf Spring Cuisions, Short Block, Aluminum Heads, Roller Rockers, Perf cam, Stainless Steal Plug Wires, Headers and Exhaust System, Rack And pinnion Stearing, New Antenna, New Seat Back Plastic Buckets..........

I hope it never ends.
