Default Noah Performance

Has anyone purchased parts from this company before? They are located in Melville, NY and some of their parts look pretty nice. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with their parts. Thanks

I bought some valve covers from him and they look fine. Have not installed them yet.

me too... very nice looking bigblock chrome valve covers with drippers. NOT NCRS correct, but nice looking. If you want accurate repros, most likely not the place for you, but well priced not bad stuff.

I have purchased several items from them and all of them have been first rate fit and finish.

Be careful of them. I use to sell their parts, but after a number of complaints and returns, I stopped dealing with them.

The BB valve covers are alright, but not NCRS correct as stated above. The C2 outside door handles they make are bad, they are cast wrong and don't fit on the door right. The 66-72 14" open element air cleaners they make, aren't right either. The air cleaner bases aren't stamped correctly, so the base hits various parts of the top of Holley and Q-Jet carbs. As such, the base doesn't sit all the way down on the carb. Using a carb air cleaner gasket (which most people don't use) helps, but they still don't sit right. The 14" chrome lids they make don't seem to be stamped as "crisply" as some of the other lids on the market.

I've purchased a few parts... low prices for sure, but kinda cheap repros. Not particularly top-shelf.

I bought a square mesh air filter from them. As others have noted maybe not NCRS but I like it.

I bought a 12" Aluminum oval air filter from them at Carlisle, this past year. It doesn't fit under my hood, I know it is my fault, I didn't check properly. I called them to see if I could exchange it. I left a message and asked them to call me back, I am still waiting for a call back. Bad business practices.

Try sending them an email. I got a question answered that way from them.

I sent them 2 emails regarding parts I was unhappy with. No response. That's when I stopped ordering there. Sometimes the lowest price isn't enough.

I ordered a locking gas cap, all 3 that they sent leaked and gave me a bad gas smell. He's a pretty big "richard cranium" in my opinion.

Bought a wiper actuator from them and it wouldn't move in and out. Called them up and they tested a few more, all were bad. I was able to send the item back for a refund.

Did your friend make it by their place of business? I am interested in some of their items, but the opinion on their quality seems to be about 50/50.

I like many have had good luck with Noah, the respond to questions quickly and have good merchandise. I received the wrong T Top weatherstrips and they quickly sent the right ones even before they received the other ones back. Good people.

Default noah performance

i posted this some time ago on another thread. here’s my experience.. i purchased a set of tail light lenses from them, great on the delivery but they sent me two completely different lenses . i emailed them and sent them back per their request, after that they did not respond to any of my multi emails. two months go by and nothing so i file a ebay claims dispute, a few days later i receive a email response from them and a package containing the correct matching lenses.

i would never recommend or do business with them again.

what the HELL happened to "customer service" in this country? in this world? i mean, g@damn(!).... i own a small business, i work in the service industry, i *get* it. i understand profit, loss, craftsmanship, etc, and i understand that the final product may suffer as we cut corners in order to lower prices... so fine, maybe there will be a screw up here and there, but it has just gotten O.O.C.!!!!! i would never accept this type of "business practice" at my own office. no way in hell... and i can't tolerate it from others either.
