Bought my blue/white '68 Vert in 2001, so I'm owning it since 8 years and bought my yellow '68 Vert in 2006, so I'm owning that one since 3 years.
It's at the shop for body work & paint.

got mine in 96 came home in boxes, had to sit the body back on the frame to put it on the car trailer. Been driving it most of the time after 99, really injoy pushing down the right foot and rowing thru the gears.

I've had my '71 for almost 2 years now. s..l..o..w..l..y acquiring parts. Will hopefully start tearing it apart later this spring or summer to get the resto going. Let the fun begin!

Brought home my '77 on June 11th 2006.
Looked all over middle TN for 2 years before I found her less than 4 miles from home.
Spent more time under her, bent over her fenders and twisted like a pretzel in her floorboard than behind the wheel the first year.
While she was gone for paint in the winter of '07/08 I built a garage to keep her in that cost more than I paid for her.
Coming up on 3 years now...I still get that same warm and fuzzy feeling when I turn the key that I did the first day I brought her home.

After owning my '69 from '88-'95, I went through the most boring automotive era of my life before acquiring my '70 six months ago. No plans to sell. In fact, I will probably buy a newer 'vette (probably not a C3) to use as a DD before I will sell the '70.

6 days! I bought my 79 last Friday. Have wanted a Corvette since they first came out when I was in high school, over 55 years ago!

I bought my 69 in 1981 right after graduating high school. I sold my 73 Roadrunner and my parents chipped in a few bucks as a graduation present to help get it. I'll never sell it!
Also had a 98 in 2000 and 2001, but that had to go in exchange for new baby and new house.
