Cannot give you particular color info but see my album for photos of 1985 w/ZR-1 body update in blue. It gets compliments everywhere. I think blue is a good choice. Mine has a slight metallic, only noticeable in sunlight.

The previous owner said he believed this color is a vette color, just not sure what year. I went to have some touch-up paint made and the guy said it was blue with a little green pearl. It changes colors slightly depending on the environment. I've been told I have a pretty blue vette. I've also been told I have pretty green vette.

1969 coupe, not original paint. Original paint was Lemans Blue but this looks close.

I'm not sure if photo albums are working anymore but if they are you can check mine for a few pics of LeMans Blue. Like any metallic color, it varies depending on light conditions.

I just did the exact same color change on my '69.
Well I should say am still doing it. I'm still buffing it out and reassembeling it

I went with electron blue with a black stripe.

Previous owner put a BMW blue on my '73. I can try and get the actual paint code if anyone is interested. Its a neat color in that it changes a bit in different light. Looks very dark at night and much brighter out in the sun. Every now and then you can see a hint of purple when the light is just right.

Interesting that in 1970 code 976 was Musanne Blue, and that was the same number (976) used in 1968 for LeMans Blue

'79 vette. Dark blue. base coat/ clear coat. My co-workers , who have seen it many times in an underground parking garage , still call it black!! if they talk about it. Origional paint code. I'm happy with it.
