Default Hurst Stock Style Shifter Questions

I want to install a stock style shifter handle on my Hurst setup in my 73 and I have a couple of questions. Does the reverse lock-out move up and down as factory? (non-functional of course) Is the installed height of the shifter the same as stock? I would not want it sticking up too high and looking add-on. Thank you.

...I have the OEM style shifter handle on a Hurst Competition Plus shifter in my '68 convertible and no, it does not "stick up" too high. It looks exactly like a factory shifter. Even though it's not functional, yes it does "pull up" like a stock shifter.
