Go Green,,, Save Green,,, and Make More Green when you sell it...
it will save you money because you won't have to paint the weird places that they body shops always miss. I have seen a nice donnybrook green all polished up,, its spectacular.
Mine is two toned...

I just purchased a green 69 vert.with saddle int.It needs paint and I am also thinking about a color change. I always wanted a black with saddle 69 and think I will paint it black. Its a very orig car and still has the tank sticker attached. I plan on dropping the tank this winter but I dont think it will add any value to it because the car is a base eng. 4 speed with no options. Paint it the way you want it. If you are worried about resale dont paint it . You will not recover your money for a quality paint job unless you paint it yourself. Just my 2 cents

While green isn't my favorite color, I think having a second-owner car with all that documentation and then making a $10k mistake on the paint is not wise. And, if you are really interested in future buyers, it makes it even more of a no-brainer.
If the green makes you unhappy, sell the car and buy something you can live with.

I'm generally not a stickler for originality but, with a two owner car with that much documentation........

Go green and I don't mean enviromenally. You will not regret it in the future. Green with tan is beautiful. I think the problem is not liking a certain color that is not as splashy as red or yellow is that you don't see many that are perfect paint and detailed to perfection in a particular color but when they are they all look great.
