Default 3 pics from Glacier Park cruise today

It was a beautiful day in NW Montana today and the wife and I took the Vette out for an early fall cruise into Glacier National Park. Unfortunately they are currently paving the upper portion of the Going to the Sun Road so we cut our interior Park drive short and hit the outter perimeter road between West Glacier and Marias Pass which is still a great curvey mountain drive.

Lake McDonald at West Glacier-

McDonald Creek just above Lake McDonald-

Hwy 2 near the Izzak Walton Inn, where we stopped for a great Huckleberry cobbler and coffee.

It was only about a 120 mile day but it was fantastic. Hopefully we get a nice warm early October when the colors are a little better and we can do it again. We did see a '59 and several C6's during our cruise.

Hope your weekend is just as great!

I have always said there are 3 things that can't be any prettier, a lady, a corvette and Glacier Park! Thanks for the pics. Please get some when the leaves change. 64 Corvette

Beautiful scenery, beautiful car. Looks like one of those "priceless" days.

Great shots of my favorite National Park!! We get up there every couple of years, and always stop by Mooses Saloon in Kalispell for beer, peanuts and pizza!! Hoping to take the newly restored 72 up there in the spring!

Man, I love Montana. Nice pics -- car and scenery. The wife and I were just watching a show a few minutes ago about log homes in Montana and thinking "that's the life".

Thanks for the comments guys. It's a great place to live, just a short driving season.

V77Vette-
I'll go for the bridge shot on my October run.

MakoShark72
Drop me a line before you come over and I'll meet you at Moose's. The new Tamarack down in Lakeside is a great spot too.

Tankers-
If you're back in the area, drop me a line too.
