68 wiper motor
Does anyone out there can recommend where I could either have a wiper motor rebuilt or try to buy a used one that works. Any suggestions out there? thanks

Had it tested or tested it yourself using Willcox'e video?
I only ask because I know of someone that had their motor tested by 2 different mechanics that told her it was toast. I sent her the link to Willcox's video and she tested it her self and found that it worked.
That said Willcox does sell them or you might get lucky like I did and find your local auto parts store can get you one.
Please take this advise and test the new motor using that video before installing it.
Also take the rubber mounting washers and the connector off your motor before turning it in for the core charge because the new motor won't have them.

You can also "bench" test it while attached to the car. Just make the sure the wiper door is open and you disconnect all the connections going to the wiper motor. I use a battery charger to provide the 12V.
If it works, great, you can test electrical connects to it. If not, you should still test it off the car.

Well good deal.. The 68 motor is a different bread for sure.. and in most cases as Rick indicated, even the best mechanics don't understand it.
You can test on the car.... and it was mentioned by Mandingo to make sure you have "ALL" wires disconnected from the motor, the wiper door open and.... you have water on the windshield!
For me, I just yank the motor out.. it is pretty easy to do and it takes the car out of the equation.
If you do find one at a local parts house.. or buy one of our motors, be sure to remove the three wire connector before giving up the core. It won't come on a newly rebuilt motor no matter where you get it!
Glad to see the video still has some puff left in it..
