Here's my 2-Tone. Only had it a few months! Colors were flipped when it was repainted.

I know this is an old thread , but every time I see an 82 with this paint job on it I regret not painting mine like it . My car was white when I bought it so I kept it white on the repaint . Original color was silver / claret like this one . Great looking combo .

The '82 look great from the front as it very different from the earlier models. With the black and gold works the color contrasting very well.

There was '82 for sale in this gray-claret color in Belgium a while ago.

Best tutone color produced IMO. I bought mine new in 81. Wish I still had it. It was a 4 speed and people back then couldn't believe anyone would spend 19k on a car.lol Yours still looks great.

My 1980 Vette L-82 I've had it for 26 years. 38,000 miles, it had 26k when I bought it.

I know 'Eagle Eye' Steve(lol), Pa. has those funky Model T plates and I hated it, so one day at a car show I seen this one guy had the 'Woody Woodpecker with a cigar' on his and got the idea. Found a place that had Corvette decals and had this one made up. He didn't have any with the C3 flags though, I think this one is the C5 or 6, but no ones gonna know unless they are Vette fanatics. lol
*btw it's made out of the same material as the little year sticker you get from the Dept. of Trans.
Also did you catch the Zora Duntov signature on the front spoiler?
