Uncovered it and poured in a can of Sea Foam...Have not been able to have the time to fire her up since Oct. '08 . Looks like another 6 to 8 weeks before my next chance. Just like my Wife, she will wait faithfully until my next return. "V"!

Changed out the fuel pump and then drove her 110 miles to a small town parade. Great day. Well any day I can find an excuse to get her out and stick it in overdrive is a good day

Finished welding up the sidepipes I installed yesterday. Still need to re-install rocker covers.

Think I want sidepipes, figured I would install a cheap set, If I like them I can upgrade in a year or two to the Hooker header sidepipe combo, If I dont like them I can go back with my factory setup.

Ooops, popped the flange off of my factory headers, added 3 hours to the job to repair.

changed a spark plug boot that had gotten fried up against a header tube. Then rerouted the wire so it won't happen again. Layed on my back and cleaned underneath.

Corrected a problem with the vacuum hoses I made at the headlight switch when I had my dash out. Fixed my gas gauge at the same time, now that is working. Somehow I managed to kill the seat belt warning relay. The light still comes on but now I cannot get it to stay off by pushing the reset button.

Replaced all the radiator hoses. Broke the base of the inlet hose connector on the bottom of the heater core, swore a lot and bought a 3/4-5/8 hose reducer and bypassed the core.
Now the car is nicer to drive because it's not so freakin' hot! I know it's a little bubba, but it'll get me through until I have the wherewithal to pull the dash out. I reckon it'll be years, if not a decade before that happens.
