Default Happy 2nd anniversary $100 paint job

It's been two years now since my $100 rustoleum paint job, and it still looks just as good. (the GT's paint job is about 6 months old). Not bad for a car that doesn't even get to sit in the garage.

Looks pretty good from what I can tell in the photos. Do you have any closer pics. I am considering putting strips on my sons car.

Hey lowbuck, I remember your rustoleum paint job. I'm a sprayer myself, but how about describing the application process again to refresh the topic. Looks great for the price!

Has it been two years already? I must be getting old because time is flying by. Still looks good, two years later.

Looking good. Its good to hear the paint is still holding up after all this time. Thanks for the update. It gives some good support for this kind of paint job.

Actually the Z06 belongs to my son, though I do have a '55 shoebox in the third space...

Well, I have to say I would have bet that paint would be completely shot by now, but you have obviously proved that theory wrong. Congratulations, it still looks good.

I didn't use any rattle cans except for the eggcrates, I'd rather be called "the California roller"...

That is amazing how that turned out and has held up.

I know that it would defeat the entire purpose of the $100 job, but what would be the hypothetical impact of paying someone to spray clear (or did you roll clear?) over what you did?

Yea, we need a complete step by step tutorial on how you did that! I got an Uncle that does paint but even he wants like 500 for the job + paint, Id rather do it this way since i want to use the corvette for a regular driver.

GREAT work btw, I would LOVE to have a GT but painted in opposite colors lol.
