That's a very beautiful 1982. Congrats! It is amazing to me how many folks are dropping the modern computer cars for the older models (OK you have an Atari version of a computer on that car but you get my point).

The '82 collectors edition was my first choice of Vette's, but the only thing I didn't like about them was the wheels . I didn't want to change them to the slots since it wouldn't be original.....Sweet looking '82 . Maybe since I have my '81, I will buy a collectors edition as a friend for my '81 .

Nice CE - I'm partial to the '82 model myself. I've been wrenching and trouble shooting on the crossfire for a day or three, since '97. Drop me a line if you need help with anything.
My advice; a crossfire will run great if you leave her alone with all the smog and sensors in place...if you start making changes its best to change the entire system out. Your '82 will never run like your C5 but then as much as I like my C5 Z, she'll never quite have the lines of a C3!
Enjoy!

I sold my C5 five years ago and was going to buy a 62 Vette. The 62 was sold and I ended up with a 75 convertible. While the 75 doesn't run and drive like a C5, it sure is fun to drive and gets lots of looks.
