Default Looking for C3 pictures without side marker lights.

Hi guys,

Looking for a little bit of a custom touch on the vette. Wondering how they look with the marker lights filled...

Thanks

1975... Probably going to be black. (Medium blew, white, brown, and yellow urethane bumper right now... sanding down to gelcoat!)

Since they were federally mandated, you might have an issue when inspection time comes 'round...

I "think" i can get away with some little bullets hidden up under the bumpers.

Good point though Batman, I'll investigate further.

Didn't want to see you get through a bunch of body work and an expensive paint job only to have to cut them back in.

Thanks Glass.

Yeah, the bumpers will get glassed in, and the 5mph rubber nubs will go away as well. Will look like a 74 tail, without the seam. The front will be 73'ish, with the opened finned center grill.

I'll lower it as much as feasible with decent tires on the rally wheels. I'd really love to get my hands on the 70's European aftermarket ones often seen on old XKE's. Gold, sort of look like halibrand knockoffs... except classy.

Shooting for a low stance, accentuating the curves... and not a whole lot of stuff to catch the eye. I've spent to much time drooling over Lamborghini Muira's and the like... Low and WIDE! Those make the vette look like a 4x4 in the ground clearance department.

It'll take some work to get the tires to clear without the fender lip, but I think its possible to get the look while remaining streetable. Even if it means doing the X19 roll to get in and out! (Grin!)
