Default Where last years Vette money went

I havm't been on the forum much the past six months because I got sucked into another project. I bought a low mile 70 Firebird on a wild hair to have as a driver. At first The plan was to give it a quick tune up and one thing led to another and well, I'll just let the pic's tell the rest of the story. Anyway, I almost have the Firebird back on the road and will be getting back to the Vette hopefully by Feb. I have really realized the value of this forum. The forums I have posted the Firebird project on get little to no feedback. It's not a big deal, it just really makes me appreciate the support given here.

I have learned that there is no such thing as a "little project" when it comes to older cars. It just sucks you in, and there usually is no escape.

Nice F-body. I've got a 71 Z/28. It's about the 5 or 6th that I have owner. These cars are starting to get noticed and the $$$ is starting go up. You don't see 70 F-birds. Don't know why??? I don't know what you pain put it looks real good and solid. Don't look like bubba's been on it.

Yeh, it got away from me pretty fast.
What sucks is that with the time and money put into it, I could have had a rolling chasis ready for the Vette. Oh well, I always wanted a 70 Firebird so I'll probably just drive it and enjoy it for a while. I was really close to going all the way with paint and body work, but I'm ready to get back on the Vette now. Thank's to all for the compliments.
