as for the condition of my 75, here you go. no paint, no carpet, bad fiberglass, lot more rust than the 69. really not worth a lot. still need a LOT of work. maybe would sell for 3 or 4 thousand.
the owner has original manifold, intake, carb, etc. the emblems are in the box with the new weatherstripping. doesnt have wheels.
compared to the 75, this runs great. ive always wanted a chrome bumper, but never had a chance to get one, but i dont want to spend way more than i should.
ill get the vin on sunday

went over to a classic car dealer today and asked him questions and he said that the mileage on a classic car will not show mileage it should say exempt. is this correct?
this owner really believes that there is 13,000 on it. it was the first owner who lied to him if so. i think ill offer him around 6 or 7,000 and keep my 75. ill see what happens tomorrow.
thanks for the imput

Look at the picture of the motor carefully. There is no way it has only 12,000 miles on it. The aluminum intake manifold is filthy. A 38 year old car with only 12K miles would have a very clean engine compartment, at worst it would be very dusty, not grungy like that engine.

$15,000 for that are you kidding. Thats a $5000 to $7000 car at tops. It also is a 200,000 mile car or it sat unprotected in a chick coup for 10 years. This is guy is telling one true thing, it's a 69. Make him a low offer and walk away.
For comparison I just bought this car for under $15K.

estimate how much you think it's going to cost to make it what you want and make him an offer for what you think it's worth as it stands given the time and money you're going to have to put into it. if he doesn't accept your offer go look for something else, there are a lot of cars out there and it's a buyer's market. In the meantime if he really wants to sell he'll get back to you because that car ain't going anywhere for 15k. i recently looked at a 69 coupe that was ridiculously priced at 25k that needed paint and a lot of other little things that add up. when i offered 15k he laughed. here it is a month and a half later and he has called a couple of times saying he'll take the 15k. i ended up passing and found something else. For 15k i think you can do a lot better. if you have 20k you can probably get something finished or very close. you'll probably save yourself a lot of money in the long run.
