Default Astro Ventilation Actuator, Outside Door Actuator, Defroster Actuator

Does anyone know where to buy either rebuilt or reproduction actuators for the defroster, astro ventilation and outside door?

The part numbers I have are from a 1970 non-a/c car.

Astro Ventilation Door Actuator 1998989
Outside Door Actuator on top of Heater Box 1998948
Defroster Door Actuator on left side of heater box 1998955.

This is for a friend of mine who tried a set from Doc Rebuilt and they did not match and were the wrong size. Turns out Doc Rebuild is getting them from an A/C parts supplier but would not reveal who it is.

I emailed my friend your response and will let you know what he says.

In the meantime, did you also seal up your Astro Vent doors under the rear deck? Because they will open everytime you start the car and let all the a/c out. From what I've read, they only close when the heat is on.

He also needs the actuator mounted to the bottom of the rear deck above the window tray.

They are also closed when all the heat & air is off.

GD70, not sure how they would work on air cars. Mine has the doors sealed from the factory and there is no actuator or vacuum line. Other threads suggested that no air cars have vacuum actuated doors on the Astro Ventilation system.

Mine has no AC. I believe you're right re: AC cars being sealed up. The owners manual actually gives a lot of detail about this, as well as the Chassis repair manual.

I also need part 1998948. Is there any source for this? What have others done about replacing or eliminating it?
