Send me a pm when you roll it out of the booth.
I'll have mine loaded on a trailer and headed your way the next day

Sorry for the wait guys. We had some customer parts to paint this week, so my hood was pushed back.

However. The doors are officially ready for paint, and the t-tops just need a quick prep and they will also be ready.

I promise to post pics the minute they are cleared. Lots of progress. Been working on it like a mad man every day now. I can taste the end.

Byron did the paint and striping, he did a really nice job.

It will be sanded and recleared to burry the stripe later this week.

The spraying primer stage is over as of tonight. Everything, inside and out, is in urethane primer.

Where did you buy your hood at, and how much? I am needing one for my 1973, but $750 is alot for a stupid hood.

First round of clear. My closest friend and boss, Byron, did an amazing job spraying, like he always does. It will get sanded and recleared to burry the stripe, then be cut and polished.

Thanks guys. The blue was my choice, the silver was Byron's. The silver has a hint of gold to it when it's in the sun.
The doors are next, then the main body.
It's pretty amazing how much he has taught me these past three years. I can do everything now.

Interesting, then why is he painting it and not you. Just an observation that you have done all the work and put all the sweat equity into it for years and then have someone else be doing the painting...
