Default How long can you drive one of these?

I was wondering how old you get when you start thinking that it's just not safe enough to drive these things. I would expect that people can drive the automatics a few years longer than the manuals.

Just trying to figure out how many years I have left

I don't know that you can get to old to drive these things. There are plenty of people out there that are middle aged and shouldn't be allowed to drive at all. Things like eyesight, reaction time, etc... come into play but that applies to any car. As long as you can still get in and out of the darn thing, you still have your vision working for ya, and you're not driving 30 mph on the freeway, keep on driving it!

I hope for a long time. I would hate to think that I'm fixing it up for someone else to drive.

Til the state says no more. You know it's California.
I finally got $650 buy back letter(I'm sure I'm not the only one here who received it) yesterday and got me think that way.

My 74 year old Father in law is still cruising his Stock white 76 he has owned for 20+ years he drives it 3 times a week everywhere....

We were talking the other day and he said he wanted a convertible A toyota Solara and I asked if you can have any car what would it be he came up with a 60's Cadillac Convertible.

So I got him thinking Why the Heck not??? Enjoy Life and your cars besides he Caddy is cheaper in price and A cool ride compared to well I don't want to say that name again
