Default New pics of the Beast

So i got to drive the beast finally ECU isnt tuned at all and it might have a vacuum leak because it dies right when you get off the throttle (like if i floored it then let go) but idles fairly well. Timing might not be set perfectly.

Its going into a local shop to dynotune on sept 6th. I wont get to see it until christmas though as i start school in SD on sept 5th

that scoop it hot, the only thing I would have done different was make the mesh loop smaller so you can 'see' less of the filter behind it and it still lets in plenty of air and looks cool.

I'm glad to see you finally got it all back together. Been a long time in the making...I remember when you first started that thread about this car and your progress last fall.

Looks awesome! I especially like how you blended the front & rear bumpers into the body. Just beautiful!
Let's see the engine and interior!

That is one sweet vette Ever think about putting mesh in the front grill areas?, not sure how you would pull it off with lights there, might be a little too much but I think it would look pretty good.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Here are some engine pics. Remember this was just put together, i havent had a chance to clean up the wiring and finish everything yet.

Interior - Not done at all. Have to finish getting the center gauge console in and the shifter plate. The wiring will also all be hidden.
Rear is pretty much done, the car cover is in the pic..

Oh and any idea what the fittings are for on the side of the throttle body. I think the ones that are connected with the blue hose (for now) are for coolant, but im not going to run it up there. The lower one of the two black ones kills the engine if plugged...

sharp looking car, nothing like the first few drives after a long down time and a lot of work.

Sweet!! Really love those bumpers like that. Did you switch to fiberglass bumpers to accomplish that? Are those Boyd Smoothies? Looks like 18" n the back and 17" for the front wheels? very nice car

18x10 back 17x8 front. Bumpers are fiberglass. Bolted to the body then filled in.

Do you have a PCV system already in place? Try running the PCV valve from that lower vac port and cap which ever one you're using now.

Currently i have a breather filter on the passenger side head and a pcv valve hooked up to vacuum port on the other side.
