Wow! Must be a C3 General thing. I just don't understand how this is an open forum, you can make a post and get jumped on by a certain group of members.
I have read how the expertise has left this forum and that is not good. You have to sit back and wonder why. Is it responses like those read here and they are either just frustrated with the bickering?
I have recommended this forum to many fellow Vette owners and am beginning to rethink what I am doing.
What a shame.

But over the past week I've seen numerous posts in C3 General with a tone that is borderline silly. "Senior" members who seem to spend more time worrying about conspiracies or playing back-and-forth "one liner" games then actually enjoying the thing they share in common. I'm not blameless here as I did a bit of the same thing last week on the "Death of Ricer" thread.
My hunch is that unless folks remember why they are here they will find themselves surrounded by only a small group of their buddies, agreeing on everything while new folks and many knowledgeable other senior folks go someplace where things are more constructive, less personal or where the fear of asking (possibly) stupid questions may be lower.

These threads can be fun to read but sometimes they get out of hand. I looked at some of the profiles of some of you doing the trash talk and I can't find any pictures of your cars. Jughead has a really nice ride as well as a world class Mullet. Great job on that car! If your going to act technically superior to others, back it up with results on your own car that you actually did the work yourself and share the photo's. Talk is cheap.....Post your car pictures.
Also....are there any cops on this thread who never get tickets that want a piece of me!!!..Just kidding....You guys are great
