I'm 48 and have had a moustache since I was 18. When I shave it off, my wife complains that it makes me look younger than her, so I only shave it off when we argue about something.

This poll might confirm those mustache rumors! It would probably take me a decade to grow a good one, so I'll check back later ...

I know. It's kind of freakin' me out.
Maybe when I turn 40 (in 3 years) I'll have to grow a "****-Stache."
The way my facial hair grows, it just might take me 3 years to do it!

Shaved off the soup strainer around 15 years ago, never grew it back.
If I did now, it would probably come in gray

Had a mustache and a beard for about a month while in the Corps. Then it was out of the field and back to regulations.

I actually have an OEM. Still original, other than a trim here and there it as never been shaven. Afraid that if I shave it it will never grow back.
Oh and I am 50

Grew a stash in Vet Nam back in 65. Shaved it off once in the 80's. Wife likes it, so it's here. She says I look to mean without it. At my advanced age 64, don't want to look mean.

I'll 2nd that - we guys with little hair on our head compensate with facial hair - I have a goatee and stache as well
And yes I am over 50!
