Not much to look at yet, but it is a pretty clean original to start with. I have the original air cleaner and distributor cover that I want to put back on.

You are correct!
I bought the Summit Billet Alt, and Pwr Str pump brackets and they changed all my belt sizes.
I will actually have to mod them and use the first 2 grooves on the crank pulley to run my belts. It will look cleaner when done, I will post pictures.
If you look you will also notice I have only one new Edelbrock short valve cover which will not work with the Roller Rockers I bought.
I have no fuel line, carb, rad hoses, vac lines, heater core box, distributor, MSD (optional but I need it), exhaust man, radiator, fan....
Oh my God I still have a lot of money to spend!
I hope to finish before summer is over, but I love this Thread so much I thought I would show my work in progress.
Thanks Durango, I think you are an asset to the site, and I often read your posts.

Mine definately isn't the nicest out there, but I'm proud of it none the less!! It tooke me two years of work and lots of money, but I replaced my L-48 with a 465 hp, 450 tq 383 complete with Trickflow aluminum heads, Holley 4150 Carb, MSD digital E-curve distributor, etc.
I painted the entire engine compartment with krylon semi-gloss black and I couldn't be happier with the way it looks.

Seriously, I actually found an Amway/Quickstar link where they are using this.
