Interesting idea and a good way to make use of those old turbine wheels. It's also a good way to avoid all the not-fun work on the front end huh?

Matched western rims looks good. When I was a young boy my dad had red color matched rims on his 69 vert. Brings back memories.

Creative, but will pass judgement until job is complete. BTW - Have you thought about putting the same "model" tires on one side so the letters match on the front & back (assuming they're the same sizes)?

looks like you are doing a nice job But I'm not crazy about color matched wheels. I would stay w/gray, silver or black & the polished spokes.

Yeah man, that's nice. I was thinking about pinted wheels the other day. I saw an ad and you can barely see the wheel but you can tell that the center of the rally wheel was painted to match the car. I was wondering if anyone had done that. Now I see you are in the process! Be sure to post some pics when you are done.

I'd save my money if I was you and but a complete Vette. Your last '68 and this one aren't doing it for me.

Good Luck.
