Default Garage Floods

Michigan weather sucks. We got 1.25" of rain yesterday and my garage had almost 2" of water in it,

MY 69 VETTE IS WAS SITTING IN 2" OF WATER. Now it freezing.

I was able to pump most of it out but its nasty in there. I have a major clean up project this weekend.

Sorry everyone I just need to cry someplace.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it all dried out soon. I am looking at an ever expanding puddle sitting on ice next to my barn right now. We are supposed to get over 2 inches of rain and it's not draining

I hear ya! I thought I knew I wasn't the only one with that problem. I couldn't believe how much water got in their.

To top it off, this morning my sump pump discharge line came loose and proceed to add 2" of water to my basement.

When it rains, it pours....

Do tires dissolve in water?

I know. Just kidding. My friend Bob once refused to let a car sit in the rain. I asked him if it was going to melt, and he moved it out.

Hope you guys pump out and don't float away.
I just got to work ... 4" of snow to start, changed to sleet and freezing
rain. I hope the tail end of rain cleans up the drive, since I snow blowed
this morning.

Good Luck ... BTW, frozen water won't hurt the car, just water in the air.

thats pretty much the reason the frame on the 69 vette is shot, and the 69 camaro is only good as a parts car now. michigan garages are god awful...

atleast i can still drive the vette. can only move the camaro in pieces. the rear springs came through whats left of the floor boards.
